• 1–3 km: one neighbourhood and its neighbours. From Soho this covers Covent Garden, Fitzrovia, Marylebone and the Southbank; from Shoreditch it covers Hoxton, Dalston, Bethnal Green and the City. Everything is walkable or one bus away.
• 5 km (Silver cap): most of Zone 1 plus a slice of Zone 2 in one direction. From King's Cross that reaches Camden, Islington, Clerkenwell and Bloomsbury. It is the right setting for a weeknight when you want a match you can reach in fifteen minutes.
• 15 km (Gold): roughly Zones 1 to 4 in every direction. Useful on a slow evening or if you live out in Zone 3 and would happily travel in, but expect a match at that distance to cost you forty minutes each way.
• 50 km (Platinum Black): the whole of Greater London and beyond. It is there for the quiet nights and for people outside the city; on a Friday in Zone 1 it is far more than you need.
